JOLIET, ILLINOIS – Joliet JackHammers Field Manager Chad Parker has announced his first two tryouts for the upcoming 2010 season, both to be held this winter. The Orange Crush open the 2010 season on the road in Fargo on May 21st, with their Home Opener on May 28th at 7:10 pm against the Lake County Fielders, one of two Northern League expansion teams.
The first tryout will be held on Sunday, December 13th at 2pm at Shorter College in Rome, Georgia followed by a second on Saturday, January 30th at 2pm at Collins Park in North Charleston, South Carolina. There will be a $60 registration fee for each tryout, but the fee will be waived for players trying out with AA experience or higher. Those trying out are asked to bring all of their own equipment and must sign a waiver the day of the tryout.
