Collegiate Baseball Newspaper Division I Preseason Rankings

The Collegiate Baseball Newspaper came out with the preseason division I baseball rankings today and the only teams from Illinois that made the list are the University of Illinois and Eastern Illinois University, which did not make the top 40 but were listed as "Other teams receiving votes".  Illinois finished 4th in the Big Ten Conference in 2009 with a 16-8 record and 34-20 overall.  Eastern Illinois finished first in the Ohio Valley Conference in 2009 with a 13-4 record and finished 33-14 overall.
