Scott Heelan Signs Letters of Intent to play baseball at Virginia Tech

Scott Heelan signed a letter of intent to play baseball at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia. Presenting at the signing ceremony from left are assistant baseball coaches Greg Piggott and Rick Hill, Heelan and Clint Smothers, Warren’s head baseball coach.

Having a Division I player come out of Warren is hardly news these days. Sean Kennedy, a 2009 graduate, is pitching for Jacksonville University.


Two ex-Blue Devils, Andrew Wolcott (Duke) and Adam Worthington (Illinois-Chicago), are pitching for the Arizona Diamondbacks.
