PEORIA, ILLINOIS - The Chicago Cubs and Peoria Chiefs have announced that the Cubs Caravan is returning to Peoria on Thursday, January 14, 2010 at the RiverPlex and will be highlighted by Rookie of the Year candidate Randy Wells, Micah Hoffpauir, top pitching prospect Andrew Cashner and new hitting coach Rudy Jaramillo.
Other players on the Cubs Caravan include Koyie Hill and Andres Blanco, former Chiefs Jim Adduci and Justin Berg, Cubs Assistant General Manager Randy Bush, Vice President of Player Personnel Oneri Fleita, third base coach Mike Quade and bullpen coach Lester Strode. Comcast broadcaster Dave Otto will emcee the event.
