The Southern Illinois Miners have announced that all-star reliever Jake McMurran will return for his third season with Southern Illinois. McMurran has a career 2.32 ERA, which is more than half of a run lower than any other pitcher in Miners history with at least 55 innings pitched. His 87 appearances are also more than any pitcher in the Miners three year history.
