Plainfield North Baseball Extends Conference Winning Streak to 34 Games

Plainfield North extended it's Southwest Prairie Conference winning streak to 34 games with a win over rival Plainfield Central 4-3 on Tuesday.  The Tigers (17-2 overall 10-0 conference) have not lost a conference game dating back to the end of the 2008 season.

North's Evan Whaley scored what proved to be the winning run in the fifth on a wild pitch.  Ben Gorgan (2-0) picked up the victory on the mound for the Tigers with two innings of scoreless relief.
