2012 All-South Illinois High School Baseball Team

Below are the selections for the 2012 All-South baseball team selected by the The Southern Illinoisan newspaper.

Aaron Hancock, Marion, 6-0 on the mound with a 0.96 era.
Mitchell Rose, Murphysboro, hit .327 and was 5-2 with 0.68 era.
Marcus Wargel, Gallatin County, batted .549 with 5 homers and stole 54 bases.
Wesley McGuire, Gallatin County, hit .435 and was 7-5 on the mound.
Drew Johnson, Crab Orchard, hit .529 with six homers and was 6-2 on the mound.
Jared Anthis, Mount Vernon, was 9-0 with a 1.58 era.
Zack Jones, Mount Vernon, hit .381 and was 2-0 on the mound.
Matt Brashear, Centralia, hit .437 and was 2-0 on the mound.
Caleb Crim, Massac County, hit .484 and was 5-4 on the mound.
